Early 2017

I have gotten way behind on posting pictures. Here are some from Jan and Feb.  The kids were sick the whole month of January with a cold and then chicken pox.  Yuck!  February was much better, and it was so good to get out of the house!

This girl begs to go over her picture cards multiple times a day.  I love it when she learns new words, and it makes it so much easier when she is able to tell us what she wants!

We finally had a chance to take the lightrail downtown to show the kids where daddy works.  He has an awesome view!

The winter months were really mild, and there were even a few 70 degree days in February!  We went on a beautiful nature walk to soak up the sunshine.

Valentine's Day celebration at the Highlands Ranch Mansion.

Every year we do fondue for Valentine's Day.  We usually just do cheese, but this time we added chocolate. Unfortunately I burned it, but the kids still enjoyed the fruit and pound cake!

The next day was Mary's 6th birthday!  She requested an owl party, of course.  The cake didn't turn out like I had hoped, but it was my first experience with fondant.
