Visit from the Luppino's

We had a great first weekend of August when our friends from CA came to visit!  It has been about 4 years since we have seen them, so it was great to catch up and meet their youngest two.  Here are some pics from the weekend...

The guys went on a tour of Coors field while the mamas took the kiddos to a park.

Casa Bonita!  Notice Alex's yellow napkin that the magician gave him during the magic show.  He was so excited and kept it for a few weeks.  He called it his magic hankie :)

Not sure how to fix these pics, but we got a few good ones in front of the fountain.

Centennial Center Park and dinner at our house.

We hope to see you again soon, Luppino family!

July 2014

Catching up again, so only one post for July stuff :(  A bit of what we have been up to...

We had a quiet 4th of July at home, and invited a few friends over for bbq.  I didn't take many pics, but managed to get a few cute ones of the kiddos together.  After it got dark, the kids played with glow sticks and watched some fireworks from our front lawn.

The next day Alex went moose hunting with a friend.  He didn't get any good pictures of the one they saw off in the distance, but he got some beautiful pics from their hike!

Play dough + spaghetti noodles + cheerios = 30 minutes of uninterrupted cleaning time (at least from the bigger kids).  Yay!

We had some extended family from Nebraska and Boston in town a few weeks ago.  I haven't seen them since I was a kid, so it was great to catch up and meet their cute kiddos!

A few pics I snapped while waiting to pick up Alex from VBS.

They are practicing their team cheer :)

Cow Appeciation Day at Chick-Fil-A!

Tiny Town w/ my parents, grandma, sister and nephew.  Waiting for the train ride!

They were so excited to ride in the caboose!

The Dr. Seuss house :)

I will miss beautiful days at the park with friends once the weather starts to get cooler.  It is a favorite activity for the kids, and we have discovered several new places this summer!
