My oldest is now 4 years old! He is such a joy; full of wonder and excitement and lots of questions! He is very observant of the world around him, and has a great memory. For example we got a flyer in the mail about city projects and there was a picture of a street they are doing construction on. Alex saw it and remembered it was the street he had driven down to go to a restaurant several months ago, even though the restaurant wasn't pictured. He is still crazy about space, rockets and astronauts. We had a space birthday party for him, and he was sooo excited about all of the space-themed items :)

The kids played an asteroid (water balloons) toss game...
And then when on a moon rock (foil-wrapped Starburst candy) hunt around the backyard.
Can't wait to see what year 4 brings!
